GENERAL RAIDING RULES & EXPECTATIONS

The following are expectations of our current and future initiates. If these expectations aren't being met, you will likely find yourself guildless at the end of the initiate period. The officers will be monitoring each initiate and at the end of a month period of being in the guild you will either become a full member or we will have to let you go.

1. Attendance: RAID TIMES ARE 8:00PM-12:00AM SERVER TIME (PST). We expect that initiates will make at least 75% of all guild scheduled raids. Everyone goes on holidays or needs a break, however if you disappear for a few months with no explanation you will be guildless on return.

2. Class Knowledge: We expect that each initiate know their class and do the proper research to best represent their class and spec. This research may include consulting with more senior members of the guild or officers regarding rotations, gearing, and spec, but each initiate should also be proactive about going on the web and checking sites like: ElitistJerks.com, MMO-Champion.com, Official WoW forums, or whatever special site may be out there about your class. We ask if you are going to take the time to raid 4 nights a week with us that you also take the time to be the best you can be.

3. Raid Encounter Knowledge/Awareness: We expect that initiates do their part to research boss encounters the guild is currently downing or working on. The less time being spent on explaining an encounter to a new recruit the more bosses we down. Please utilize sources like YouTube and WoWWiki. We expect that an initiate not only knows the fight but is also able to adapt to game mechanics and to be aware during encounters. If you know the fight yet still stand in fire for 10 seconds we will have issues. We all make mistakes and are tolerant of that in this guild but if the same mistakes continue over and over we will have a problem.

4. Consumables: You must have potions, flasks, and food with you and ready to use before each raid.

5. Gear: We expect that undergeared initiates do everything they can do outside of doing 25 man raids with the guild to gear up. This means outside of our normal 8-12 M-Th raiding schedule we want to see undergeared initiates running 5 man heroics, 10-man instances, puggable 25-man instances each week until they are geared as they are going to get outside of doing 25 man guild runs. Gear is very easy to get in this game and if someone is still undergeared towards the end of their initiate period we will have problems. Use of the Armory, Wowhead.com and programs like Rawr can also be very helpful in finding the upgrades and the best possible gear for your class & spec.

6. Gems/Enchants: We expect that all of the initiates gear will be enchanted (highest quality) and gemmed (purple gems) before each raid.

7. Add-ons: We expect all our raiders to have the required add-ons working:

    EPGP
    Omen
    Deadly Boss Mods
    Pally Power [Paladins Only]
    oRA3

In addition, Ventrilo & a mic are REQUIRED for every raid.
For our ventrilo server information, please click here.

As a guild we want to progress in this game and in order for that to happen we need everyone to bring their "A" game each and every raid night, regardless of whether we are hitting a progression boss, or one that is being farmed. This seems like a big list but in all honestly it's very simple to achieve each and every one of the above expectations.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ABOVE RULES & EXPECTATIONS APPLY TO CURRENT MEMBERS AS WELL, AS THEY SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN FOLLOWING ALL RULES & MEETING REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS!

PUGGING RULES - Updated January 19th, 2010

We have a strict rule against pugging progression instances. Please acknowledge this as we treat these incidents as an instant removal from guild. The guild puts in a great deal of trust and dedication to every member and we expect the same in return.

YOU MAY NOT PUG:

Trial of the Crusader & Trial of the Grand Crusader [25-Man]
    Icecrown Citadel [25-Man]

The remaining 10-Man instances and 25-Man instances are open to pugging, however, please realize we often complete Vault of Archavon as a guild, as well as 10-Man Icecrown & ToC10/ToGC10 on weekends & some raid nights.

Currently, ALTS in The Vagrants are not allowed to do the non-puggable instances listed above.
